Our Staff

 Jeffrey E. Foster, M.S., M.A., L.M.F.T.:  Mr. Foster has graduate degrees in clinical psychology and developmental disorders.  He has been in practice as a licensed child, adult and family therapist since 1981, and certified learning handicapped specialist since 1978.  His experience includes appointments as director/program manager of multiple mental health agencies for over 30 years.  He has served as a program specialist for the master for plan special education, behavior management consultant and day treatment provider for local school districts, professional advisor for the Tourette’s Syndrome Society, and currently state president of the Autism Society of Washington.

Carole A. Kaulitz, M.Ed., CCC-SLP:  Ms. Kaultiz, a master’s level licensed Speech—Language Pathologist, has taught courses in multiple subjects including Communication, Deaf Education, and Signing, in several Washington state colleges and universities, and is currently (since 1988) Adjunct Instructor, Lewis and Clark College.  She is on the professional advisory board of the Autism Society of Washington, Washington State Deaf Education Advocates Foundation (D.E.A.F.), and member of the ESD 112 Autism Cadre.  She is co-author of Learning with a Visual Brain in an Auditory World:  Visual Strategies for People with Autism Spectrum Disorders (Arwood  & Kaulitz, 2007, Autism Asperger Publishing Co.) and Visual Thinking Strategies for Individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders:  The Language of Pictures (Arwood, Brown & Kaulitz, 2009, Autism Asperger Publishing Co.  Ms. Kaultiz has served as a Speech—Language Pathologist and special education teacher specializing in autism and deaf/hard of hearing for several local school districts since 1978.
